The Hidden King

The Hidden King is one of the two Patrons seeking to pass through the Astral Gates to incarnate in our world. A colossal entity, part deity and part fortress, he is anything but a benevolent god: he is an ancient power lying in wait deep within the Cursed City, waiting for someone to clear the way for him.

To take physical form, he needs champions. To anyone who helps him complete his ritual, he promises to grant a wish—any wish at all. This promise is enough to drive mercenaries, scholars, and revenants to tear each other apart in the streets, each convinced they can claim what is rightfully theirs.

In battle, the Hidden King sits upon his Throne, the final stage of the ritual. His phases are massive and predictable, but they mercilessly punish disorganized teams. Reaching him is the goal of every match; defeating him is the stuff of legend.
