Le Syndicat Mendoza

The Mendoza Syndicate had long ruled Spanish Harlem with an iron fist. Racketeering, drug trafficking, corruption: few things happened in the neighborhood without the Mendozas getting their cut. Their power was based on fear and a stranglehold they had patiently built over the streets.

But no criminal empire lasts forever. The Syndicate was dismantled from within as well as from without, and its downfall left a vacuum that other factions are still vying to fill.

Its dissolution not only liberated a territory; it also changed the course of the woman who had brought about its end, who was now searching for a new purpose after having devoted her life to bringing down the Mendozas.
