The Deep

The Deep is a unique underwater habitat, unlike anything found on the surface. This is where Viscous comes from—a fluid creature whose very nature betrays its origin: a world of pressure, darkness, and life forms that no biologist would dare to classify.

Like Ixia, The Deep illustrates the diversity of the planes that the Maelström has connected to Earth. Not everything that emerges from the Gates falls from the sky or rises from the flames; some things rise from the depths.
